Privacy policy

Effective date:

Word Warlocks is developed by Nicholas Ufier. This policy describes how information is handled when you play the game, participate in beta testing, or contact me.

Word Warlocks does not require an account. Your game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. The current game contains no advertisements or third-party advertising or analytics services.

The game also stores optional play diagnostics on your device. These include gameplay counts, session timings, performance measurements, and error information. They do not include the actual words you enter. These diagnostics are not automatically uploaded to me.

Local diagnostic recording is enabled by default. You can disable Save play diagnostics in Settings and remove existing recordings using Delete saved diagnostics. Older recordings are automatically removed as storage limits are reached, with up to 30 session files retained. Disabling recording does not delete all previously saved recordings; use the deletion control to remove those.

When you test Word Warlocks through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares it with me. Apple also shares feedback you choose to submit. This information can include device and operating-system details, app usage, screenshots, and, depending on how you join or provide feedback, your name and email address. Apple’s collection is separate from the game’s local diagnostic setting. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.

If you contact me by email or voluntarily send feedback or diagnostic files, I receive your email address and the information you provide. I use support messages and beta-testing information to respond to questions, investigate problems, and improve Word Warlocks. I do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share TestFlight testing data with third parties.

Support messages and downloaded diagnostic or feedback reports that I retain are deleted or anonymized within 12 months of receipt, unless longer retention is required by law. Information retained in Apple’s systems is subject to Apple’s policies and controls.

You can request deletion of personal information you have sent me by contacting nick.ufier@gmail.com. Local diagnostic files can be deleted through the game’s Settings.

This policy may be updated as the game changes. The effective date above will identify the latest revision.
